In the iPod Touch Prank, Vaheed served as the primary victim of an elaborate four-month psychological prank orchestrated by Dayna, Abdul, and Brad. Over this period, Vaheed was subjected to hidden iPods making bird and bee noises around his desk. Vaheed repeatedly told others "I think there's, like, a nest. I think there's, like, chickens or something around," believing there were chickens nesting on the roof of the building. His colleagues gaslighted him by claiming to hear nothing. The prank escalated to the point where Vaheed told their boss "I think I've got to get a doctor's appointment. I'm hearing things. I don't know what's going on with me." Vaheed was genuinely scared about explaining his symptoms to medical professionals. When finally told about the prank after four months, Vaheed was relieved rather than angry at the revelation.
In Dayna's recounting of the Szechuan Peppercorn Peanut Prank, Vaheed played a different role as eager instigator targeting their coworker Shell. Dayna explains that Vaheed was particularly motivated to prank Shell, stating "Well, Vaheed really, really wanted to prank him." As part of the plan, Vaheed approached Shell with a specific strategy: "Vaheem goes up to Shel. He's like, hey. Hey, buddy. Hey, do you have any. I'm so hungry right now. Do you have any snacks?"
