The attempted search yields nothing productive due to the costume's limitations.

When the tactical situation shifts and the party considers changing their approach, Safia begins removing the costume. Sucks resists, pulling Safia close and lying down on the ground, transforming the upright costume into a bear rug in an improvised hiding attempt. This deception proves unsuccessful.

As the party debates their next move, the group discusses whether to take guard uniforms from their incapacitated opponents. Brad offers creative suggestions for integrating the bear costume with the new disguises, proposing either wearing the guard uniform over the bear costume or creating a "Smokey Bear" effect—an "official bear" wearing guard clothing. The party notes that the guard uniforms "fit better than the bear costume," highlighting the costume's impracticality.

When guards approach and the party needs to hide, Sucks is ultimately forced to abandon the Bear Costume despite the emotional attachment expressed earlier.
