Teenage Dealer
Summary
The Teenage Dealer is a young girl who sells pipe leaf on a street corner in Rex Tree. In Session 4 of the campaign, she conducts a transaction with Safia, selling a baggie of Pipe Leaf for 10 coins. She claims her father is an apothecary, which makes it legal for him—and presumably her—to possess and sell pipe leaf. Session 4
The Teenage Dealer first encounters Safia on a Rex Tree street corner, where she is selling pipe leaf. When questioned about the legality of her operation, she explains, "My dad's. My dad's. He's a. What's it. He's an apothecary. It's totally legal." After negotiating the price, she tells Safia, "That'll be 10 coins," and completes the sale by handing over a small baggie of the substance.
Later in the session, when Safia investigates the caravan bound for New Smoke, the Teenage Dealer provides information while hanging out with other teens smoking weed on the corner. She reveals her plans to travel to New Smoke, stating, "So I guess it's supposed to leave in like two days. I'm gonna sneak aboard." She and her friends discuss their scheme to work at the rig in New Smoke and return with money. During this conversation, she mentions her father's horse, saying, "My dad let me. My dad let me borrow his horse. It goes so fast." The group also discusses the idea of feeding horses donuts to make them go faster, demonstrating their inexperience and youthful thinking about the journey ahead.
